Project Architect for Gertler Wente Associates

The four historic greenhouses at Wave Hill were in dire need of modernization and expansion. Each greenhouse had its own set of very specific needs relating to the plants it housed, and we coordinated with horticulturalists, preservationists, mechanical engineers, and glass manufacturers to attain the optimum environment for each. Additional coordination was required with the office of Robert Stern, who was simultaneously constructing a new visitor center adjacent to the greenhouses.
