Rooftop Addition + Roof Deck

A family wanted to stay put in their beloved neighborhood, but their 2 bedroom apartment was getting too tight. They were on the top floor of their 4 floor walk-up, so the only way to go was up. We built a rooftop addition, adding a master bedroom and bath, exercise space, and new roof deck with beautiful views of downtown Brooklyn. We also fully renovated the main floor, reconfiguring the kitchen by opening up the space to flow with the entrance and Living Room areas, and updating the bathroom. We were also able to make the stair a focal point of the design, and allow it to bring light into the center of the main floor.
