Brooklyn Coop Renovation
Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, NY
A Brooklyn couple wanted to make mealtime for their young children more enjoyable by creating a place for two to eat just off the kitchen, rather than in the more distant dining area. Extending the counter through a new pass-through allows their children to sit at the bar and eat, do homework, and interact with their parents while they prepare meals. The renovation also brings in more light from the living room, opens up the kitchen to the rest of the apartment, increases the amount of cabinets and shelves, and makes them more easily accessible. The work also included a bathroom renovation with all new plumbing fixtures, tiles, custom wood shelving, and accessories.
