Williamsburg Loft

A gut renovation to the top floor unit of a multi-family building, combined with a new rooftop addition, transformed this tenement style apartment into an open and light-filled home. We created a soaring, double-height space for the open kitchen, that opens directly to the more intimate living room, which backs up to a cozy dining nook. A grand open stair leads up to a sleeping loft carved out of an unused attic, and then up to the new roof deck.
